Here comes the day of their arrival! After we picked up Chong and Ate Malen at the airport 4 a.m...(What the...!? How could they book a flight so early!)...we ate breakfast at McDonald's just across the airport...near the Resort World that is Nanay's and Tita Lita's fave hangout! Hehehe!
We came home for a little rest then went to the Club Manila East in Taytay, Rizal for a swim. It was Monday so there were very few people there, maybe just two more little groups aside from us, that it seemed we were on a private resort.
Here comes the waves!
Fun underwater!
Kayaking!
Tired and hungry from the swim, we all decided to go to SM nearby to have pizza and chicken.
While waiting for the foods, the kids just went on to solve puzzles!
The Beauty and the Beast!
Tuesday, I had to go to office since my leave was unapproved. I followed them at Robinson's Place. It was raining hard, so there were floods everywhere. The taxi I took "broke his break" (as he said) and, when we were just near the Robinson's, was hit by another vehicle. It was such a bad luck!
Wednesday, the bad luck stayed...there was an almost 24-hour blackout apparently because of typhoon Basyang. It was a very unproductive day for everybody even at our office...good thing I did not go!
Thursday was Nanay's birthday. We had a barbecue party...and, to end the night, had a ghost story-telling (very untypical for a birthday party!)!
Friday, we decided to go horseback riding in Tagaytay. The kids were very excited about it; though at first, Chong's tummy was aching that he just wanted to go home even if we just arrived after a very long-hour ride! Our first hours there were spent looking for a clean bathroom with water....To think that there was a rather big entrance fee for the park, there is no water in their CR!

Before heading home, as most would do before leaving Tagaytay, we decided to have a taste of their famous "mushroom burger".
The next day, after a long wait of Chong, we finally went to SM (Mall of Asia) basically to buy his Omnitrix and then had dinner at Mexicali.
The famous "globe" of MOA.
The famous "globe" of MOA.
After dinner, the kids asked, as usual, to go Tom's World for a play!
Then, Sunday, off to Museo Pambata! We availed 50% off since we are Manila residents...Ogos availed free because he is a teaching staff..and Ate Marlen because she was thought to be a staff there as she was wearing a very-look-alike-their-uniform polo shirt! Hehehe!
More pics on the other blog (Our Nth Time...)
Monday...off they go back to Taiwan...Waaahhh! While the rest are sad, Kylix was not. She said "I am happy because I do not have to be absent na from school!" Wahahaha! When I was a kid, I am happy if I am absent! Nyahahaha!
Bye Chong and Ate Marlen....until later!
