Picnic at Daranak Falls

Amidst the threats of supertyphoon Juan or Megi on Sunday, we, the makukulits, went on a picnic to Daranak Falls. Osh and I were wanting to go on one but did not really have a full-set plan so it is half planned and half biglaan...Hehehe. We just bought foods at SM Marikina. En route, Nanay thought she wanted to swim but did not bring clothes so we went to SM Marikina to buy ones. In the end, she did not buy clothes (and did not swim) but we bought many ulams that we had till dinner when we got home.

"Let's go! Hurry up!"

"Are we there yet?" "Are we there yet?" "Are we there yet?" Haynaku!

While waiting for Nanay "buying swimming clothes", we just ate popcorns and scramble.

Our ulams we bought at SM! We have sugpo, laing, chicken, another chicken, BBQ, and sisig and pichi-pichi!

Eating time!

The "baby falls".

Walking to the "big falls". Very muddy, slippery, rocky!

The Daranak Falls! Apparently, the water was very deep on that part of the falls.

Kylix cannot swim as her mom said so we just dipped our feet and Nanay is behind there scaredy of the water!

Mamerts wanted to go to the other side where you can see the falls much clearer and where there is another baby falls but to go there, we have to go through the water and another slippery, muddy rocks!

Gabby did not like to swim as he thought it is dirty because of the floating leaves! And, of course, it is cold!

K: "Can I swim?"
Me: "No."
K: Ok, I'll just walk."
Me: Ok, let's walk here at the rocks."
K: "No, walk there at the water!"
Me: "Ok, you call your mom."
K: "Call her. Go!"
Me: No signal."
K: "Why"
Me: We are at the top of mountains."
K: Let's go down the mountains. Come on!"

Just ate her frustrations to swim! She ate noodles, sandwich, and Cheetos!

Time to go home!

On our way home came very hard rain. We were stressed as we thought it is already Juan and we would not want to be stranded noh!
